Suspicious activity has been detected on your Google account. Verify your account using your phone to continue

  1. On your phone, open Google Messages
  2. Tap the profile circle above your conversation list and select Device pairing
  3. Tap QR code scanner and scan the code on this device

This is a QR code. In order to pair, make sure that your QR code scanner is open in the Google Messages app and hold your phone up to your screen. Slowly move your phone away from the screen until your phone announces that you've paired successfully.
